Atlanta quarterback Michael Vick had two first half turnovers and the Detroit Lions turned them into touchdowns on their way to a 30-to-14 victory. Vick fumbled on the Falcons first drive and was picked off in the second quarter. Each turnover led to a touchdown run by Kevin Jones. For the game, Vick completed 17 of 32 passes for 163 yards and one score.
Jon Kitna led the way for the Lions with 321 yards passing on 20 of 32 completions. He also had an interception and a touchdown. Receiver Roy Williams had six receptions for 138 yards, making him the N-F-L's only player this season with four games of at least 130 yards receiving.
The win gives the Lions two wins in eight games while the Falcons fall to 5-and-3.
