The Chicago Bears are no longer unbeaten. The Bears were manhandled by the visiting Miami Dolphins in a 31-to-13 win for the South Florida team. Ronnie Brown of the Dolphins rushed for a career-high 157 yards and Joey Harrington passed for three scores as the Dolphins snapped a four game losing streak and upped their record to 2-and-6.
The 7-and-0 start for the Bears was their best since the 1985 team that won its first twelve games enroute to the championship. Quarterback Rex Grossman of the Bears had an off day, hitting on just 18 of 42 passes for 210 yards.
