"The Mass" is produced live in Studio A every Sunday morning. As a matter of fact, it's one of the country's only live, local TV Catholic Masses. Implemented by Bishop John D'Arcy in cooperation with WNDU-TV, this half-hour broadcast brings the traditional Catholic Mass to those who, for whatever reason, may not be able to attend a service on their own. A portable altar, stained glass backdrop, and pews give the Mass a church-like appearance, and area priests rotate the televised duty. Musicians and a small congregation round out the service.
