Robert Borrelli, one of Michiana's most established television reporters, joined NewsCenter 16 in October, 1999. Like many of his colleagues at NewsCenter 16, Robert grew up right here in Michiana. He was born in Elkhart, graduated from Elkhart Central High School, and now lives in Granger.
Robert graduated from Ball State University in 1984, and while there he worked at WBST-FM in Muncie as a morning radio anchor and reporter. From there, he moved to WSBT-TV and worked there for fifteen years as a photographer, assignment editor, and the Elkhart bureau reporter.
Robert has received honors from the AP and the Society of Professional Journalists. He enjoys mountain biking and working on his home. His birthday is November 13.
Robert and his wife Anne, have three children, Alex, Kristen and Rachel.
